Remove A Wax Stain From UGG Nightfall Boots

Some how a candle splattered in my room and candle wax got on my womens ugg boots. I have dark spots all over my UGG Nightfall Boots. I didnt realize it untill this morning and it was dry by then. I used the stain remover it came with and it didnt work I still have huge dark spots on cheap ugg boots. does anyone know anything else that will work. I just got them and I already ruined them. Any help would be great.I try using paper towels and a hair dryer. Just use the hair driermelt the wax and the paper towels to soak it up, this works really well on carpet but I’ve never tried it on boots.
